Dawn's Tribute Fund

Created by Sarah 16 years ago
Welcome to my Tribute Fund for my Mother Dawn Lewendon. My Mother was diagnosed in October 2006, having had several falls during the year resulting in her breaking her arm twice. At the time the doctors initially thought she had trapped a nerve in her back, then through a process of elimination and her deteriation she was finally diagnosed. I have created this page to help raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association. My Mother is still a strong and determined woman and I am grateful that she is still with us and fighting this illness til the last. I am grateful to my father Terry Lewendon for being able to look after my Mother, and it is with comfort and great fortune that my sister, Sharon Petersons and myself, both live close by and can spend some special times with my Mother. Update 20/9/2009 It is some time since I updated this tribute and the reason for that is that sadly my Mother lost her fight o the morning of 3rd April 2008. She was a wonderful woman and is sadly missed by all her family and friends. I know that she is in a better place now, and is watching over us. She is always in our thoughts and in our hearts. I know that I not only speak for myself when I say a part of me died when she did. Please consider making an online donation or if you prefer you can help me raise money for this Tribute Fund by creating an online sponsorship page to mark a special event or occasion. All money raised on these pages will be earmarked as being donations made via this Tribute Fund when they reach Motor Neurone Disease Association. Simply choose one of the links above to see what you can do. If you like, you can also sign the guest book and tell other people about this service. Kind Regards, Sarah Robinson
